Signs and Symptoms of Celiac Disease

Symptoms can vary from person to person, and in some cases, no symptoms are present. Contact your Primary Care doctor if you experience any of these symptoms or are concerned you might have celiac disease. Celiac disease symptoms might include:

  • Gas
  • Chronic diarrhea 
  • Constipation
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Chronic bloating or stomach pain 
  • Pale stool
  • Early osteoporosis or bone fractures
  • Unexplained low blood count coupled with fatigue
  • Tingling, numb feeling in the legs
  • Missed menstrual periods for women
  • Infertility
  • Teeth changing color or losing their enamel
  • Muscle cramps or bone pain
  • Pain in the joints
  • Painful, itchy skin rash
