Dr. Birju Bhatt is a board-certified rheumatologist with a special interest in musculoskeletal autoimmune conditions. He believes in a holistic, individualized approach to patient care, ensuring that each patient’s needs, preferences, and values guide their treatment journey. Understanding the vital role of the patient-doctor relationship in rheumatology, Dr. Bhatt takes the time to listen and address concerns to develop personalized treatment plans that enhance well-being and quality of life. His passion for medicine stems from a fascination with the human body and a desire to combine problem-solving, empathy, and science to improve patients’ lives.

Dr. Bhatt earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University before completing his residency and internship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, followed by a fellowship at Albany Medical Center. He is fluent in English and Gujarati and is a proud member of the American College of Rheumatology.
