Dr. Mary Ann Curiba is a board-certified Rheumatologist with over 39 years of experience in the field.

Throughout her career, Dr. Curiba has shown a particular interest in rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases, such as lupus, psoriatic arthritis, and vasculitis. She finds the challenges in their treatment both intellectually stimulating and personally fulfilling. Dr. Curiba welcomes referrals for a spectrum of rheumatologic conditions, ranging from those involving antinuclear antibodies (ANA) to more complex cases.

Her approach to treatment is thorough and conventional, emphasizing a comprehensive medical history, meticulous physical examination, and pertinent laboratory testing. Dr. Curiba acknowledges the advancements in science that have unraveled the complexities of the immune system, paving the way for more targeted and effective treatments for autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Curiba earned her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, and then completed a postgraduate rotating internship at The Polymedic General Hospital, Inc. She continued with a residency in Internal Medicine at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in New Jersey and a Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry. She was chosen as a Top Doc by NJ Top Docs in 2024.

Dr. Curiba enjoys spending time with her family and painting in her leisure time.
