Shaili K Patel, MD-MPH

Shaili Patel, MD, MPH is a board-certified family medicine physician who loves caring for patients and building long-term relationships with individuals and families. Having grown up in New Jersey, Dr. Patel is proud to be back home, serving the community she knows and values.

She completed her family medicine residency at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance–Hospital in partnership with University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. She also holds a Master
of Public Health from Rutgers School of Public Health, with a concentration in epidemiology, reflecting her strong interest in preventive care, public health, and community wellness.

Dr. Patel is deeply committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all patients, especially those who may face barriers to healthcare. Her dedication to service and leadership has been recognized with honors including the CMSRU Family Medicine Award (2020) and the CMSRU Century Service Award (2016–2017), which recognizes medical students who complete over 100 hours of community service and demonstrate an exceptional commitment to their local community, health, and civic engagement.

She is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and English, which allows her to connect with and care for a diverse patient population.

Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, cooking, watching movies, and giving back to her community by mentoring young people. She values listening to her patients and partnering with them to support their health and well-being at every stage of life.
